Start Date: 21-09-2022
Venue: Online Welcome Session and Case Study Sessions. Live Face to Face Workshop Derby
This BAHT Level I course (minimum of 18 hours teaching) is designed for occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and therapy assistants with less than 2-years experience of hand injuries and conditions, who wish to refresh their basic knowledge and skills in the field of Hand Therapy.
This course will be delivered predominantly in a web based distance learning format with pre-recorded formal teaching sessions (12 hours and 15 minutes) via the Pulvertaft Hand Centre learning portal, quizzes and live virtual case study sessions concluding with a Face to Face practical workshop day.
There is an expectation that participants will have studied the anatomy of the hand in some detail prior to the course, as only a brief revision of more important structures will be covered. Reading of all course information is strongly recommended.
(Delegates must attend all virtual sessions, complete online quizzes, attend the live face to face practical workshop day and successfully complete the post-course examination to gain BAHT Level 1 points)
