Introduction to working effectively with children and young people using CBT Techniques  

 

Live online session: Tuesday 5th December 2023 2pm  5.30pm and
3.5 hrs of pre-recorded lectures to watch BEFORE the live session on Tuesday



Introductory course suitable for all staff working with children.

 

Course Aims & Objectives:

  • Effectively engaging children and young people in treatment
  • Developmental and neurodiverse (ASD/ADHD) adaptions to CBT for children and young people
  • Incorporating abstract narratives, metaphors, and imagery-based techniques, with concrete and visual methods to improve physical outcomes
  • Working systemically by addressing barriers to effective treatment, supporting co-regulation, and collaboration within the wider system

 

Faculty:  Vicky Lucas –  Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Jemma Richmond –  Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist

Course fee includes: 3.5hrs webinar to watch BEFORE live 3.5hrs session (2.00pm – 5.30pm) via  ZOOM on 5th December 2023
