Venue: Derby - The Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Royal Derby Hospital, DE22 3NE

This one-day practical course is based at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre at the Royal Derby Hospital. It is a suitable course for A&E staff, CTS, ST1-3, ENPs, nurses and therapists and for all who have already attended our Acute and Advanced Hand Injuries courses.

It covers practical aspects of acute hand injuries, including when to treat and when to refer. Discussions and workshops also include:

  • LA – Practicing Blocks
  • Primary Management
  • Joint Injuries: Tips and Tricks
  • Fingertip Amputations: Assessment and Management
  • Kids Injuries
  • Therapy Options
  • Out-Patient Clinic Sessions

Course fees include lunch and refreshments.
