Our rehabilitation and treatment facilities have been put together to give you the best possible care. At the Pulvertaft Hand Unit, we can offer everything from splints to rehabilitation groups. Our Hand Therapists can utilise and access a wide range of diagnostic, hand therapy rehabilitation and pain relief treatments – meaning you get the care that works best for you.

Workshop
Our workshop is designed to help patients get moving, regain their strength and overall functional ability. With a wide range of equipment and facilities, our workshop can be used by all kinds of patients with all kinds of conditions. Clean, light and spacious, it also has an ADL Kitchen area. We work with our patients to devise both supervised and independent programmes of exercise for:
- Musculoskeletal treatments
- Function based rehabilitation
- Endurance and stamina
- Back to work rehabilitation
Biofeedback Therapy
We offer biofeedback therapy for the treatment of patients hand conditions. It is through the use of a specialist computer software programme designed to improve your proprioception, range of movement and grip strength. The machines save your data and map your progression.
In addition, other specialist treatments include diagnostic testing on the BTE and MULE and therapeutic ultrasound, TENS electrotherapy, and steroid injections through our ESP facilities – but whatever your needs, we aim to provide the most necessary and best possible treatment for you.
Treatment Rooms
