1-day Wrist Fracture Fixation 2024

When: 15 March 2024

Where: The Museum of Making, Derby

What: This is an accredited 1-day wrist fixation workshop aimed at plastic and orthopaedic consultants and trainees who deal with wrist fractures. (Please note that this course is preceded by a 2-day hand fixation workshop on 13-14 March).

The faculty consist of national and international hand surgeons, with a high faculty to delegate ratio. The course will consist of a balanced mix of lectures and practical sessions (using saw bones). Topics include:

• Scaphoid fracture fixation
• Volar locking plate for distal radius fractures
• Ulnar shortening

The course fee includes lunch and online course materials.
