If you do not pass within the first three attempts, you will be required to wait 7 days before reviewing the module and attempting the assessment again. I passed the exam. Can I start using mini C arm once I receive my certificate?
The course provides the underpinning knowledge needed to use the mini C arm safely but a period of supervised practice in the workplace is then needed. This should be carried out by someone who is competent to carry out this type of imaging – for example: a radiographer or a surgeon who uses the equipment.
In order to fully accomplish the requirements of the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations you will need some practical training and supervised practice with the mini C arm image intensifier. This needs to be sufficiently documented localy.
I need to cancel my training. What can I do?
If within 7 days of receiving your user name and password for the radiation protection on-line course you change your mind, and you have not yet accessed the course material, you may cancel your order by emailing us at enquiries@pulvertafthandcentre.org.uk . A £30.00 administration fee will be charged.
Please note: no refund will be possible once the material has been accessed.
How long is the log in and password valid for?
