Mr Dan Armstrong graduated from The University of Nottingham in 2002. Following his Basic Surgical Training he undertook an 18 month research post within the Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby.

He underwent his Higher Surgical Training in the Trent region before obtaining his FRCS (Tr&Orth) in 2011.  He has undertaken subspeciality training in Hand Surgery in Nottingham, Derby and was the National Hand Fellow in Oxford for a year, both at the John Radcliffe Infirmary and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.

He was appointed as Consultant Hand and Wrist Surgeon at Derby in 2014.
